Our friends at the English Speaking Union would like to invite you to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee on Sunday June 3rd with a Brunch.  Come dressed in your finery, and win the hat contest! President Quinn Peeper's personal collection of Jubilee and Coronation china will be on display.  For more information and for tickets, call Beth at 504-909-3291.

 

The Afternoon Tea at Longue Vue House and Gardens on March 25th was sold out, and was the best ever! We toasted Queen Elizabeth II's Jubilee Year with mimosas, and then enjoyed delicious sweet and savories, all accompanied by the beautiful harp music of Laurie McConnell.

 

My technical problems with the website are now fixed, but the photos of the Longue Vue Tea, and also of the Lafayette Mountbatten House AGM are on our Facebook page.  Please go there and "like" the page.
