WHAT IS THE DBE?
DBE is a nonprofit nonpolitical American society of women of British or Commonwealth birth or ancestry. The members have common interests and heritage, and meet regularly for business and social events with the common cause of philanthropy. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES The main objective of the DBE is the support of four District Homes for retired men and women of all nationalities. Members are proud to be able to provide these senior citizens with comfort and dignity in later life. Chapters and State Societies also participate in many philanthropic endeavors in their local communities, mostly with the elderly.
