After awarding pins for years of service, one additional honor was bestowed: an appreciation pin was given to Butzie Calzada, a DBE husband, for over 30 years of support of DBE.  As Jane said in her remarks, at every DBE event, Butzie is always toting ice chests, up a ladder, putting up or taking down tables and chairs, or doing anything else that needs doing.  Thanks, Butzie.

With so many years of service acknowledged at the Member Appreciation Luncheon, and with so many new members who will become eligible for the 10-year pin in the next few years, DBE in Louisiana is in good hands.
