Mountbatten House Incorporated is a non-profit organization under the patronage of the Daughters of the British Empire License No. 030403 GENERAL INFORMATION Mountbatten House is a Type A Assisted Living Home. The Home is financed through payments from residents, fund-raising by the Daughters of the British Empire (DBE) and personal contributions. The Home opened in 1984 with 16 rooms and was expanded in 1990 to 24 rooms. LOCATION Mountbatten House is located in Highlands, Texas, approximately 20 miles east of downtown Houston, Exit 797 from I-10. Respite care is also available to look after loved ones for short periods of time.
