ROOMS . . .
There are twenty four rooms at the Home. Each room comes with a bed and a small vanity containing a wash basin. Rooms are available with modified vanities and bathrooms for wheelchair access.
Each twelve by fourteen foot room shares a bathroom with the adjoining room.
The rooms are left for the individual occupant to decorate as they wish, with each room being unique to that resident.
COMMUNITY AREAS . . .
 |
 |
The Home is comfortably furnished with the appearance of a British Country Home. Antiques abound throughout the community areas with rare china on display in the cabinets.
|
The hallways are hung with lithographs and photographs depicting life in past and present Britain.
There are two attractive living rooms; the larger houses the TV and VCR and is where most people congregate. The smaller, more intimate living room is a peaceful place to finish a jigsaw puzzle, read a book or have a chat with friends.
Residents' family, guests and DBE members are encouraged to visit the Home and at the invitation of the resident, may visit their room, or enjoy one of the common areas.
 |
The home has a comfortable Dining Room that also serves as a game and party room. |
