QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADMISSION
There is no fee to apply for admission.
As a Type A Assisted Living Home, Mountbatten House requires that a prospective resident must be able to meet the following criteria:
- Be physically and mentally capable of evacuating the property, unassisted, in the case of an emergency (this includes mobile non-ambulatory).
- Not require unusual and routine attendance during nighttime sleeping hours.
- All applicants must submit an application form and have a routine physical with their doctor. After reviewing the physician's report, the Director of Admissions will arrange a personal meeting.
- An applicant who is accepted for admission is required to pay one month's rent in advance and one month' s rent as a security depost, for a total of two months rent.
- Upon moving into the Home, a resident has a three month probationary period.
Mountbatten House is a non-smoking facility.
