The Plimsoll Club Christmas Tree

For the past 21 years, members of Elizabethan chapter have spent the Saturday after Thanksgiving decorating the Plimsoll Club Christmas Tree with their lovingly handcrafted tree ornaments.




This year was fun, as usual. The tree arrived considerably "over-flocked" and pretty soon all the Elizabethans looked like they had come inside from a snow storm! Each year, the members hold summer workshops to add to their handmade ornament collection. The 2003 additions are beautiful hats. hat ornament

This year's tableau is a nostalgic snowy Victorian countryside scene, complete with Santa and his sleigh all ready for Christmas.
