LOOKING FOR EXPATS
Another great DBE website received a letter from Charlotte Dawes:
"I'm researching for a documentary in the UK looking at British expats who are thinking about returning home.
I'm really keen to hear from Brits who have lived abroad for a number of years and had minimal contact with the UK, but who are now weighing up whether to come back. It's a straightforward, feel-good programme, investigating their dilemma and contrasting how different their life would be in the US compared to the UK.
We would fly them home for a recce visit (all travel and accommodation expenses covered) and give them the opportunity to discover what life would be like in the UK to help equip them to make the decision - stay abroad or come home."

We’re keen to hear from Brits who have lived abroad for a number of years without (or very rarely) visiting home, but who are now thinking about returning permanently to Britain.
Perhaps you miss your family and friends, maybe schooling is a problem for your kids, or you simply yearn for British culture. Maybe some family members are longing for home, while others are not so sure.
BUT...You're also concerned that you might regret leaving all the good things about living abroad if you do go back to the UK.
