Cricket

Do you understand about a "sticky wicket", the rules for being out "LBW", and all about "spin bowlers", "maiden innings" and "googlies"?

Then you must be a cricket fan.

If you're not a fan yet . . . what better way to spend a leisurely Sunday than cheering on your local cricket team.

The Crescent City Cricket Club is a group of club cricketers of various nationalities living in the New Orleans area. Go out to Joe Brown Park* most Sundays from 10 a.m. to see what this cricket thing is all about.

More details may be found on their website New Orleans Cricket

* How to get to Joe Brown Memorial Park Cricket Field ....
