Waterloo Cottages, Cranbrook, Kent

Jackie, from Daffodil Chapter in Colorado wrote to recommend Waterloo Cottages, a Bed and Breakfast in the delightful village of Cranbrook, Kent.

Your host is Jackie's cousin, Patience Smythe.   Jackie writes: Her cottage is quite charming.   She is extremely welcoming, well traveled and passionate about her pets.  There is a lovely walled garden at the back of the cottage and Cranbrook is an ideal location for exploring Kent and Sussex.

To learn more, you can go to the website of Cranbrook. If you go to the section called 'Brief History,' and scroll down to the bottom, there is a fascinating group of "Then" and "Now" photos. Some of the photos of the High Street now are paired with the same views at various times in history.   It's a great feature of the site.
