On Saturday March 22nd, award winning chef Susan Spicer opened up her Rosedale Restaurant just for DBE to hold the Louisiana ACM. Thank you, Susan! The food was exquisite and the service wonderful.
On January 8th, the 210th anniversary of the Battle of New Orleans was commemorated at the Chalmette Battlefield. Jane Caruso and Batty Calzada represented the DBE and laid wreaths. Betty Calzada spoke on behalf of the British dead. You can read her remarks.
