Butterfly Cakes

1 yellow cake mix (not with pudding added)

4 eggs

1 vanilla instant pudding mix

3/4 cup water

1/3 cup oil

Preheat oven to 350*

​

Beat eggs.

Add cake mix and pudding mix and beat for 5 minutes.

Add water and oil and beat well.

​

Spray small cupcake pans with Pam.

Fill 2/3 full.

350* 10 - 15 minutes

About 70 small cakes per recipe

​

When cool, cut tops off.

Fill with butter cream.

Slice tops in two, and replace as "wings."

​

BUTTER CREAM

1/2 lb icing sugar

4 oz butter

Few drops almond and/or vanilla essence

Beat well until creamy

 

When cakes are finished, seive some icing sugar on tops 

​
