DBE in Louisiana

Louisiana DBE was founded in March 1959 with the Elizabethan chapter, which was quickly followed by the Camelot chapter.  Members gathered Sunday April 7th, 2019 for Afternoon Tea at the Windsor Court Hotel to celebrate the anniversary.  President Martine Lowe presented 60 year pins and Congratulatory Certificates to Heather Cavanagh of the Elizabethan Chapter and Margot McNeely of the Camelot Chapter.  The first State President, 98-year old Ivy Laurent, was unable to attend, but a letter of congratulations was sent to her via her daughter.
